Mindfulness is a topic that is becoming popular in modern psychology. It is a therapeutic technique, and for some people a way of life. Mindfulness encompasses a range of concepts and strategies to help people manage worry, and anxiety and become more focused on the present. Nicole describes mindfulness as a way to 'build a healthier relationship with your thoughts'. Mindfulness is evidence based, and is particularly helpful for people with excessive worry and rumination.

 

Psychologists can help people learn mindfulness in more detail and implement mindfulness with step by step guides.
